The Harvard Park Community Safety Partnership received a commendation at City Hall on November 13, 2018 for reducing violent crime and crimes overall in the Harvard Park area. We are proud to say that there were no homicides in the recent reporting period.
Councilmember Harris-Dawson said, “Proud to start off my morning honoring the Community Safety Partnership and the success we’ve seen across Los Angeles because of this nationally recognized, relationship-based policing model. Harvard Park is the eighth CSP site and the only one outside of a housing project. #CSP is a proven way to reduce crime and build trust with residents.”
As part of the Harvard Park CSP, we regularly hold community walks around the park on Saturdays in partnership with the American Heart Association. Check our calendar and join us.
ECCANDC Board Member Ellen Pace joins in the celebration with Officers Toscano and Del Pino from the Harvard Park CSP and Daniel Nuñez Coordinator for Harvard Park.
