April 20 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Your most Southern Neighborhood Council invites you to spend a spring weekend in our part of town. There is a little far-flung community called San Pedro – and it’s part of Los Angeles.
Friendship Park is a hillside natural area with trails, and beautiful view.
Bring the family (the fur children are welcome to join you, on a leash!) take a walk and see the spectacular views of Catalina Island, the Pacific Ocean, LA Harbor, Long Beach and Orange County coast!
After WILDFEST, feel free to to the waterfront and visit the USS Iowa, or go across the bridge to Long Beach.
San Pedro is located at the very end of the 110 freeway.
To get to Friendship Park, go down Gaffey Street to 9th Street, turn right to go through town and up the hill.
Once you pass Western (at the fruit stand), make a quick left onto the uphill road. You will find us at the top of the hill.
