Cannabis Regulations Update

DCR Phase 2 Closed, New Complaint Portal, Guide to Cannabis Use, and FAQs Available Now

To assist the City Attorney and the Los Angeles Police Department in their efforts to identify and prosecute unlawful cannabis activity within the City, Department of Cannabis Regulation has created a new complaint portal that will efficiently route concerns and complaints to the appropriate agencies. Residents, businesses, and concerned citizens are encouraged to help in these efforts by reporting questionable cannabis activity in their communities by visiting cannabis.lacity.org/#submitcomplaint.

If you have questions regarding the legality of commercial cannabis in your neighborhood, this Guide to Adult-Use Cannabis may help answer your questions: cannabis.lacity.org/resources.

Additionally, a revised list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and answers can now be found on the DCR website. Please refer to this list and find desired topics by category.

Be advised that the Phase 2 application period for non-retailer commercial cannabis activities closed at 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018.

Thank you for your interest in the City of Los Angeles Department of Cannabis Regulation Department.

P.S. As a reminder, the next regularly scheduled Cannabis Commission meeting will be held on Thursday, October 11 at 2 p.m. You will be able to view the agenda closer to the date by visiting cannabis.lacity.org/cannabis-regulation-commission.
